Do not move here. My apartment was vandalized twice (someone egged my front door/mat and left a rock on top of my mat), there was a homeless person wandering along my bedroom on a regular basis. Felt so unsafe that I had to move early and break my contact without any compensation. Management said they can’t guarantee anyone’s safety. Front desk staff was nice. Maintenance was quick/responsive.
Absolutely horrible place to live. First of all there is literally no place to put your trash unless you wanna walk a quarter of a mile to the very front of the complex. You are forced to pay 2 fees for trash removal ($35+ a month) and they are supposed to remove your trash from your front door, but that only happens about 2-3 times a week, so there is literally trash everywhere, all over the property. The rear of the property is a prolific dumping ground, with homeless/ meth heads who dig through people’s trash/recycling/cars. We’ve live here for a couple of years and the entire time we’ve lived here the front gate has been broken. Anyone can come in at any time, and they do. Literally, if you are considering moving here, just drive through once, any night after 10 pm before you do. The apartments them self are extremely cheaply built, and there is clearly a water problem because the water gets regularly shut off during the day. Just this last year I was caught in the middle of the shower twice when the water was shut off! This doesn’t prevent them from nickel and diming you every step of the way. Rent, water(lol), sewer, 2 different trash bills, 40+ dollars a month for your parking space, 8 dollars a month for a package locker, (that also rarely works and breaks down constantly). I will say that the office staff is very nice, but unless you wanna live at the dump, but pay premium prices definitely give a Anna evergreen a pass.
Love my apartment..neighbors a bit sketchy..and my apt wasn't done totally when I moved in..but I love Pam she's great! I like the package delivery service..disappointed I haven't got to use the gym yet..under construction 😫 over all love my apartment …
5 stars! 10 stars if I could! I have been working with what seems like an appointed representative, who is very responsive and always has an answer. Avana Evergreen staff have been friendly, kind and reassuring with any issues I've brought up. The application process was a breeze with low fees. We were able to view the apartment by ourselves which alleviated any pressure. The grounds are nice, kept clean and we noticed a major plus of quietness and it was 4pm when we came to see the apartment. The patios are private and the layout of the home makes sense and flows. Low cost convenience amenities is also a great plus! We hope to live here for years!
Man this place was awful. I lived there for 9 months and still moved out 3 weeks before my lease officially ended because I could not stand it anymore. This place is GHETTO. All sorts of people coming in and out at all hours of the day and night due to the gate never being closed on this “gated community”. Trash as far as the eye can see throughout the property as well as graffiti, I ever found used needles at one point and condoms. You never know what you’re going to see. The back of the apartments on the top of the hill seem to be a hotspot for trouble. People having sex in their cars, partying, drinking, drugs, loud music you name it and it happened. There has been cars dumped there and stripped, my own personal vehicle had gotten messed with and you always have a feeling that you’re going to be mugged. The “renovated” apartments are very cheaply done. The walls are made from paper mache to the point where you could probably hear your neighbor fart is you listened close enough. It wasn’t uncommon to see dumpster divers on the property, and the Amazon lockers had also all been vandalized and broken into. All appliances were replaced with newer models, except the washer and dryer which both so happened to be older than I am. Also, watch your feet! There’s dog droppings everywhere. All in all I can not express how much I would not refer somebody to live here. You can go down the street and find a better place for the same price. Do your research but take it from me.
Unbelievable. These apartments across Vancouver. Administrative fees? $250-$350 non refundable fee. Along with $50‐$60 per adult, when dropping off the application?? What the hell are these fees for? 20 years ago, such fees were not required.
since i have moved in the staff has been very friendly and has helped me with any questions i have. the apartment is quiet and gated which is my favorite part as i have a two year old and want to ensure she not only sleeps through the night but i have peace of mind that she and myself are in a safe community, the apartments are very spacious as well.
pam is the best! i’m a delivery driver snd the locker was full today and she agreed to take all packages out of concern for the residents! thank you pam!!
